Not only is fast food a threat to kids' health, but also marketing schemes, aimed at young children, negatively impact their weight as it draws them to fast food locations. Because obesity continues to rise in children throughout the years, the necessity for the U.S. to take action also increases. The Department of Health, also an available link below, offers suggestions and solutions to slowly overcome this disease, such as promoting healthier foods, the recommended servings of these foods, and the right amount of physical activity and nutrition. If we maintain these solutions and embed them within our everyday lives, we will save the future of America.
